Casino trips
Trips to Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino will be sponsored by JCC of Middlesex County, Edison, on Mondays, Sept. 23, Oct. 28, Nov. 25, and Dec. 16, leaving the JCC at 8:45 a.m. and returning at about 7 p.m. Cost is $30, with $25 back in slot dollars; gratuities are included. Call 732-593-5958.

Live Well @ the JCC of Middlesex County in Edison is a health, fitness, and wellness program for the over-55 age group. Tai Chi, a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing, will continue with Bob Matland on Mondays, Sept. 23 and Oct. 7 and 28, at 9 a.m. Each program costs $45, which entitles individuals to participate in Live Well programs through June 2020; free for Community Campus members. Jewish Family Service of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties is seeking volunteers for the Family Mentor Program, Senior Shopper Program, and Good Deeds-Cooking Companions Project to provide friendly home visits for seniors. Bilingual Spanish speaking volunteers are also being recruited. Training sessions will be held on Tuesdays, Sept. 10, 17, and 24, 4-7 p.m. at JFS in Somerville.
