Grand Opening of The Birth Center of New jersey
We are having a Grand Opening event for The Birth Center of New Jersey on November 18, 2018, with a ribbon cutting promptly at 1 pm. We have invited hundreds of pregnant moms, midwives and doulas to this event. This is about women and their unborn babies in New Jersey. Blood Drive at Congregation Beth Israel
The Men’s Club of Congregation Beth Israel will hold a Blood Drive on Sunday, December 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Scotch Plains synagogue. Run by Community Blood Services of New Jersey, the drive is open to anyone in the community, 18 years or older, who is medically eligible to donate blood. No pre-registration is required. All blood donors will receive complimentary cholesterol screenings and a light snack.

Children often feel the effects of their parents' high conflict relationship. This group will help children, ages 8-11, discuss their feelings in a safe and supportive environment. Miriam Ramos-Altomonte will be the featured speaker on Friday, December 14th as part of Temple Shalom's Shabbat Speaker Series. We are offering the four workshops designed as stand-alone topics but they are collectively integrated.
