Friendship Summer Camp
The Friendship Circle of Central Jersey will offer Friendship Summer Camp for children with special needs Monday-Friday, Aug. 27-31, 9:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m., featuring music, swimming, art, sports, trips, and outdoor water fun and giving individuals with special needs a chance to build friendships with teen volunteers and peers. Neve Shalom and the Metuchen Edison Area Interfaith Clergy Association (MEAICA) will sponsor a 5K Hunger Walk on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 2 p.m. The walk will begin and end at the Metuchen synagogue; funds collected will help alleviate hunger locally, nationally, and globally.
