Iconic Culture: From Little Black Dress to Bell Bottoms
The Morris County Historical Society's latest exhibit explores cultural history through a retrospective featuring nearly 100 pieces from its historic textile collection. The exhibit highlights cultural milestones from the 1920s to the 1970s and clothing styles mirrored historical events. Open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays, 1-4 p.m. $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, $3 for students, free for children.

The Holocaust Council of Greater MetroWest will host a discussion of the exhibit “13 Driver’s Licenses: 13 Jewish Lives” on Thursday, July 18, at 11:30 a.m. at the Aidekman Family Jewish Community Campus, Whippany. Ed Berger, (1951-2017) was former Associate Director of the Institute of Jazz Studies at Rutgers University, Newark, New Jersey. In addition he was an award-winning author, jazz record producer, label owner, discographer, editor, historian, photographer, and educator. A coach bus will leave TJC at 8:30 am for a docent tour of the RBG exhibit at the National Museum of American Jewish Heritage in Philadelphia, followed by a buffet lunch at Front Street Café.
