“Mensch”-themed holiday

String of Pearls Congregation invites the community to attend its High Holiday services — themed “How to Be a Mensch” and led by Rabbi Marsha Friedman — at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton. No tickets are required for the Reconstructionist services; there is a suggested donation of $150/adult; $325/family.
Rosh Hashanah services will be held Sunday, Sept. 9, with an evening service at 7 p.m., followed by kiddush with apples and honey; Monday, Sept. 10: morning service at 10 a.m., kids’ service at 11, potluck luncheon at 1:15 p.m., and Tashlich walk to Community Park North.
Yom Kippur services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18, with Kol Nidrei at 7 p.m., with cellist; Wednesday, Sept. 19, morning service at 10 a.m., kids’ service at 11, Yizkor at 1:15 p.m., and a discussion of the Book of Jonah at 5:30 followed by afternoon service, Havdalah, and community potluck break-the-fast dinner.
