DESCRIPTION:String of Pearls Congregation invites the community to attend its High Holiday services — themed “How to Be a Mensch” and led by Rabbi Marsha Friedman — at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton. No tickets are required for the Reconstructionist services; there is a suggested donation of $150/adult; $325/family.  \nRosh Hashanah services will be held Sunday\, Sept. 9\, with an evening service at 7 p.m.\, followed by kiddush with apples and honey; Monday\, Sept. 10: morning service at 10 a.m.\, kids’ service at 11\, potluck luncheon at 1:15 p.m.\, and Tashlich walk to Community Park North. \nYom Kippur services will be held Tuesday\, Sept. 18\, with Kol Nidrei at 7 p.m.\, with cellist; Wednesday\, Sept. 19\, morning service at 10 a.m.\, kids’ service at 11\, Yizkor at 1:15 p.m.\, and a discussion of the Book of Jonah at 5:30 followed by afternoon service\, Havdalah\, and community potluck break-the-fast dinner. \nContact office@stringofpearlsweb.org or go to stringofpearlsweb.org. \n
