Meet the author

September 12, 2019 , 11:30 pm

$15 – $20

Armando Lucas Correa, author of “The Daughter’s Tale,” will kick off the third season of the “Meet The Author” series at 7:30 p.m. at Congregation Torat El, Oakhurst.

Correa, an award-winning journalist, editor, and author, introduced his previous book, “The German Girl,” at an event from the series in 2017. His new book is a story exploring a hidden piece of World War II history and the lengths a mother will go to protect her children. Based on true events, it is a family saga of love, survival, and redemption.

“The Daughter’s Tale” is available for purchase at the temple office for
$20 and will be signed by the author during the program. Pre-paid reservations are $15 per person and can be made at torat-el.org or by calling 732-531-4410. The charge is $20 per person at the door. A dessert buffet will be served.

This event is made possible through a grant from the B’nai Sholom/Beth El Foundation.
