Yosef Yitzchak Tarlow
Yosef Yitzchak (Yossi) Tarlow, 28, of Morristown died July 28, 2012. Born in Morristown, he previously lived in Jerusalem and Lakewood.
Mr. Tarlow worked for Fairmont Funding, followed by three years in Israel as a dorm counselor for the Neve Tzion and Kesher yeshivas. He worked for five years with at-risk youth from the Orthodox community at Project Extreme and was a volunteer mentor at Minyan Shelanu, Lakewood.
He attended Cheder Lubavitch, Morristown, and graduated from Talmudical Academy, Adelphia.
He was affiliated with Congregation Levi Yitzchok and the Rabbinical College of America, both in Morristown.
He is survived by his parents, Reuven and Nechama of Morristown; a sister, Gila Berryman of Brooklyn; a sister, Chanie Perelstein of Brooklyn; a brother, Shneur Zalman of Morristown; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Maslow of New York City; and his paternal grandmother, Glenys Tarlow of Stamford, Conn.
Services were held July 29 with arrangements by Shomrei Hadas, Brooklyn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Yosef Yitzchak Memorial Fund at Rabbinical College of America.
