Wrong prescription
The Jewish People Policy Institute wants Israel to take into consideration how Israel’s response will affect the Jews in the rest of the world from attacks in their countries of residence. (Editor’s Column, “The state of a fractured union,” July 30). So, if Jews may be attacked in other countries and are not protected by their governments, Israel should sacrifice its own security to protect the Diaspora Jews? I don’t think so.
