Women of Wonder film fest

The wonder of  Women Film Festival will be sponsored by National Council of Jewish Women/Essex County Section on Sunday, Nov. 6, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Cooperman JCC, West Orange. 

The following films will be screened: Fall Seven Times, Get Up Eight: The Japanese War Brides, Breakfast at Ina’s, In the Clouds, Maman(s), and Maiko: Dancing Child.

“Each year the film festival brings to the screen thought-provoking, relevant and entertaining films by women that shed light on many aspects of women’s lives,” said NCJW/Essex president Shari Harrison. 

The festival has been made possible through the support of Audrey and the late Norbert Gaelen. 

The admission fee is $60, $45 for NCJW/Essex members; a kosher box lunch is included. Nonmembers wishing to join NCJW/Essex may apply $15 toward a new yearly membership of $50. Call 973-740-0588 or visit ncjwessex.org.
