William Zuts

William Zuts, 95, of Metuchen died Jan. 10, 2014.

Mr. Zuts and his brothers owned and operated Morris Stores, Metuchen, for 45 years. Previously they had owned California Food Market, also in Metuchen.

He was an Army veteran, having served in World War II, where he was held prisoner of war in Germany for 20 months.

He was a lifetime member of the American Legion.

Predeceased by his wife, Ethel, he is survived by many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; great-grandnieces and -nephews; and his caregiver, Natasha.

Services were held Jan. 13 with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Inc., Edison.
