William Freedman
William Freedman, 84, of Livingston died Nov. 30, 2011. Born in New York, he lived in Livingston for 42 years.
Mr. Freedman worked in the garment industry as a patternmaker-designer for some 40 years.
He was a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology.
He was a Scoutmaster for many years and was a past president of the Livingston Old Guard and an active participant in its affairs. He played bridge regularly at the Cedar Street Commons and Livingston Community Center.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lee; his daughter, Amy; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 4 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
