Warren Silverman
Warren F. Silverman, 88, of Morganville died March 28, 2014. He was born in Englewood and raised in Brooklyn. He later resided in Queens, where he raised his family.
Mr. Silverman was self-employed as a retail clothing exporter in New York City’s Garment District.
As a young man, he played for the Red Spring Robins, a Philadelphia Athletics Baseball Farm Team.
He was a member of Knights of Pythias in New York.
Predeceased by his son, Mitchell, he is survived by his wife of over 60 years, Doris; his daughter, Sharin (Gavin) Natelli of Berkeley Heights; a sister, Muriel Schlefstein of Staten Island; and two grandchildren.
