Warren Kershnar

Warren P. Kershnar, 43, of Venice, Fla., and Mine Hill died Jan. 18, 2014. He grew up in Parsippany and spent the last five months in Venice.

Mr. Kershnar was a sales representative for Rush Enterprises, selling Peterbilt trucks in Tampa, Fla. Prior to that, he owned General Landscaping Contractors, and worked for Trico.

He graduated from Parsippany High School in 1988 and earned an associate’s degree in landscape design from County College of Morris.

He was a volunteer firefighter for Rockaway Neck District.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Bernice of Venice; two sisters, Pamela Ulbrich of Shohola, Pa., and Jessica (Richard) Murphy of Bradenton, Fla.; his nephew, Eric Murphy of Bradenton; and his girlfriend, Christine Matrisciano of Rockaway.

Services were held Jan. 22 with arrangements by Ewing Funeral Home, Venice; a memorial service in New Jersey is being planned.
