Walter Meth
Walter R. Meth, 91, of Cranford died March 8, 2012. Born in Vienna, he lived in Cranford since 1954.
Mr. Meth was an engineer for the Chevron Oil Co., Perth Amboy, for over 25 years before retiring many years ago.
He earned a B.S. in engineering from Columbia University.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of Temple Beth-El Mekor Chayim of Cranford.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen T. (Wang); two sons, Richard of Roseland and Robert of Marina Del Rey, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
Services were held March 11 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah.
