Walter Jacobowitz
Dr. Walter E. Jacobowitz, 82, of Morristown died Sept. 3, 2015. He was born in Jersey City.
Dr. Jacobowitz practiced obstetrics and gynecology for 40 years at Morristown Memorial Hospital, during which time he served as chair of the OB/GYN Department and president of the medical staff.
He is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his son, Glenn (Marilyn); two daughters, Dana (Michael) Yormark and Karen (Jeff) Mayerson; a sister, Elaine Rubenstein; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 6 with arrangements by Eden Memorial Chapel, Fort Lee. Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Jewish Life/Hillel at Princeton University, 70 Washington Rd., Princeton, NJ 08540, Attn: Robin Rudofker, Director of Development.
