WALKER-HOFFMAN

Elana Walker, daughter of Bonnie Rynar and Yukio Otsubo of Roseland and William Walker of Bainbridge, Ga., is engaged to Matthew Hoffman, son of Marna and Carl Hoffman of Richboro, Pa.

Ms. Walker, a graduate of Montclair Kimberly Academy, earned her BA from Barnard College in New York City, her DMD from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, and a Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She is in private practice in periodontics in Yardley, Pa., and Florham Park, as well as a clinical assistant professor at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Mr. Hoffman, a graduate of Council Rock High School in Newtown, Pa., earned his BA from Brandeis University, Waltham, Mass., and his JD from Columbia Law School, New York City. He is a director with Chatham Financial, an independent derivatives and financial risk management advisory and technology firm in Kennett Square, Pa.

A Nov. 10 wedding is planned.
