VOLK-SOLOMON
Haley Rachel Volk, daughter of June and Steven Volk of Park City, Utah, formerly of Short Hills, was married to Tom (Sulimany) Solomon, son of Vered and Yair Sulimany of Ra’anana, Israel, on June 5 at Bait al Hayam in Old Jaffa, Israel.
Dr. Solomon graduated from University of Michigan and Marian University School of Medicine. She is a resident in psychiatry at Harvard University.
A former medic in the Israel Defense Forces, Mr. Solomon graduated from Rutgers University. He is a corporate human resources manager.
The couple met while volunteering for the Millburn Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad (MSHVFAS), where they both became crew chiefs.
The bride is the granddaughter of Holocaust survivors Miriam and the late Irving Volk and the late Dr. Seymour and Judith Kuvin. She is the great-granddaughter of the late Dr. Emanuel Saxe.
The couple resides in Boston.
