Vivian Friedman
Vivian Friedman (Weinstein), 87, of Scotch Plains died Feb. 2, 2014. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she resided in the same home for a long time before moving to Scotch Plains.
Mrs. Friedman worked as an administrative assistant for a real estate office, a law firm, and a rabbi; she also was a homemaker.
She earned her bachelor’s degree at New York University.
She was an active member of Hadassah in Brooklyn for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Ellen (Joel) Waksman of Westfield and Janet (Robert) Hopkins of Cranford, and four grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 4 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
