Todd Harris, 47, of Skillman died June 6, 2017. He was born in Queens and grew up on Long Island.
Mr. Harris was vice president of broadcasting with the National Basketball Association, where he worked for the past 23 years. At the NBA, he was responsible for a number of broadcasting innovations in use today and was a pioneer team member of the WNBA. In 1993, he earned an Emmy Award for his work on the feature production, “The 1972 Olympics: USA vs. USSR Basketball.” He spent nearly four years working as a production associate for NBC Sports.
He received his bachelor of arts in English/history from Syracuse University in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie; his daughter, Mason; and his son, Logan.
