Thelma Mann Weston
Thelma Mann Weston, 93, of Pompano Beach, Fla., died Nov. 28, 2010. Born in Philadelphia, she was a former resident of Trenton.
A graduate of Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing, Mrs. Weston worked as a labor and delivery room nurse at Helene Fuld Medical Center.
After her retirement, she was a volunteer for 17 years at North Ridge Hospital in Florida.
She was the former president and a life member of Hadassah and was a member of The City of Hope, Adath Israel Congregation, Har Sinai Temple, and Shir Ami Bucks County Jewish Congregation.
Predeceased by her husbands, Abraham Mann and G. Henry Weston, and a granddaughter, Stephanie Mann, she is survived by a daughter, Ellen Somerstein of Yardley, Pa.; a son, Lowell Mann of Yardley; a brother, Milton Prusan; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 2 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stephanie Mann Memorial Fund, c/o Har Sinai Temple, Pennington.
