The Marion and Norman Tanzman Foundation’s $500,000 donation

WITH THE MARION and Norman Tanzman Foundation’s $500,000 matching gift, The Hebrew Academy in Marlboro is on its way toward reaching its $6 million capital campaign goal.

One of the goals of the campaign is to expand the school’s facilities with the construction of 12 new classrooms, a gym/multi-purpose space, sanctuary, and kosher dining facility. Additionally, The Hebrew Academy will build a Jewish community high school.

“The Marion and Norman Tanzman Foundation’s involvement in this initiative inspires us and reaffirms the blessings of our school family,” said Maxine Macnow, campaign co-chair and president of the school’s board of trustees. “This commitment has encouraged and will continue to motivate other family foundations to rally behind us with their own philanthropic support. Taken together, these resources will enable us to create the most welcoming and expansive school and communal environment for generations to come.”
