Thanks to participants
I want to thank 10 very special members of our MetroWest community who participated in the recent “I Am ABLE” ad campaignthrough MetroWest ABLE.
The campaign was designed to raise awareness of the abilities of those in our community with disabilities and to highlight the amazing community programs supporting these individuals. The 10 members included teens and adults, men and women, who shared their experiences and strengths with NJJN readers, discussing how they liked to be described and proudly noting the activities in which they participate.
MetroWest ABLE is a program of the MetroWest Federation and provides support and advocacy for people with special needs and their families. The organization envisions a community made whole through the active and meaningful participation of all its members, with opportunities to fully participate in all aspects of Jewish life in our community.
