Sylvia Zemel

Sylvia Zemel (Saffer), 90, of Boca Raton, Fla., died March 27, 2017. Born and raised in Manhattan, she also had lived in South Orange and Bridgewater.

Predeceased by her husband, Sylvan, Mrs. Zemel is survived by two sons, Richard (Christine) and Michael (Siri); a sister, Claire Adler; a brother, Wally Saffer; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held March 30 with arrangements by Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, Hackensack.
