Sylvia Klayman Brinn

Sylvia Klayman Brinn, 89, of Livingston died July 29, 2017. She was born and raised in Montclair. 

She was a bookkeeper for her first husband’s law practice and worked as a bookkeeper in other firms. 

She was invited to John F. Kennedy’s inauguration, was instrumental in B’nai B’rith’s “Dolls for Democracy” project, and was an avid mah-jongg and marbles player.

Predeceased by her first and second husbands, Max Klayman and Morris Brinn, she is survived by two sons, Murray Klayman (Judy Roberts) of Mendham and Barry Klayman (Anna Kornbrot) of Wynnewood, Pa.; two brothers, Albert Cohen and Bernie Cohen; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. 

Services were held July 30 with arrangements were by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels, Dover.
