Sylvia Indursky
Sylvia Indursky, 95, of Lauderhill, Fla., died Dec. 24, 2010. Born in Bayonne, she lived in Jersey City until her retirement to Florida in 1980.
Mrs. Indursky was a teacher in the Jersey City school system.
She was the former president of the Jersey City chapter of Hadassah.
Predeceased 15 years ago by her husband, Harry, she is survived by two daughters, Susan Schneider of Boca Raton, Fla., and Carol Cohen of Westfield; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 26 with arrangements by Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, Hackensack. Memorial contributions may be made to Hadassah Medical Organization, c/o Harriet Cohen, 7979 Exeter Blvd. E., Tamarac, FL 33319; or Hospice by the Sea, Boca Raton.
