Sylvia Cabot
Sylvia Cabot, 91, of Monroe Township died Sept. 26, 2010. Born in Carteret, she lived in South River before moving to Monroe over 10 years ago.
Mrs. Cabot, along with her late husband Gene, owned Cabot Furniture Store in South River, retiring in 1983.
She was a member of Congregation Anshe Emeth, formerly of South River, and Hadassah.
Predeceased by her husband in 1981, she is survived by her daughter, Fern Lakatos of Spotswood; her son, Alan of Springfield, Va.; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 27 with arrangements by the Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
