Sylvia Braverman, 88, of Silver Spring, Md., died Oct. 6, 2010. Born in New York City, she was a former resident of Union, Manalapan, and Edison.
Mrs. Braverman was a bookkeeper for many years at Estey Piano and Parkwood Garden Associates.
She was an active member of Temple Beth Shalom in Union, Hadassah, ORT, and the Riderwood Village Jewish community in Silver Spring.
Predeceased by her husband, Milton, she is survived by her son, Bruce of Somerset; her daughter, Janis Spinak of Annapolis, Md.; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 8 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
