Survivors speak
The Morris Museum in Morristown will host a special program, “Survivors Speak,” on Tuesday, May 8, and Wednesday, May 16, both at 10 a.m.
The program consists of two speakers who are eyewitnesses to the Holocaust and a moderator. The speakers are chosen for the diversity of their stories during the era to help develop awareness that the Holocaust encompassed a wide range of experiences. Following the presentations, the audience is invited to participate in a question & answer period.
This program was originally developed by the Holocaust Council of Greater MetroWest NJ specifically for the Morris Museum’s outreach to schools and has been hosted for many years for students across New Jersey. This year, the program is being opened to the community.
Tickets may be purchased for either date; the cost is $8, with an additional $3 for museum admission for non-members. Visit morrismuseum.org/lectures/ or call 973-971-3706.
