Sue Weinberg
Sue Sarell Gaynes Weinberg, 89, of Springfield died Dec. 12, 2018. She was born in New York City, raised in Long Branch, and settled in Springfield after her marriage.
Mrs. Weinberg graduated from Upsala College.
She was a member of the Brandeis Book Club, and was involved with politics, animal rights, gardening clubs, bridge, tennis, and golf.
Predeceased by her husband, Irwin, and son, Jimmy, she is survived by two daughters, Shirley Donahue (Gene Demsey) of Springfield and Barbara (Mark) Mitchell of Westfield; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 16 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to S.A.R.A., Summit Animal Rescue Association, PO Box 124, Berkeley Heights, N.J. 07922.
