Stuart Lewis
Stuart “Stu” Lewis, 81, of Lakewood died Oct. 17, 2010. Born in New York City, he grew up in the Bronx before moving to Yonkers, NY, Matawan, and then Lakewood 15 years ago.
Mr. Lewis, a volunteer fireman in Matawan, served in the U.S. Navy and the Army.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy; two daughters, Patti Sherman of Aberdeen and Robin Rosenson of Freehold; his son, Ricky of Matawan; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 19 with arrangements by Belkoff Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA of Central Jersey Hospice, Red Bank; or the American Cancer Society.
