Stephen Paul
Stephen F. Paul, 58, of West Orange died Sept. 15, 2012. Born in New York City, he was raised in Cranford and lived in New York City and Princeton before moving to West Orange 13 years ago.
Dr. Paul was a research physicist at Princeton University’s Plasma Physics Laboratory from 1981 to 2012.
He received a BS in physics from Cornell University and a PhD in applied physics from Columbia University.
He was a member of B’nai Shalom, Congregation Ohr Torah, and Lubavitch Center of Essex County, all in West Orange.
He is survived by his wife, Gilda; two daughters, Rachel Yogev and Jordana Paul; his son, Aaron; and his parents, Bernice and Seymour.
Services were held Sept. 16 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital (for the research of Dr. Eileen O’Reilly) or the American Technion Society.
