Stefanie Friedman
Stefanie Jill Friedman of Delray Beach, Fla., died May 31, 2015.
Ms. Friedman was a student at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla.
Through her rescue dog, Bernie, she became an active volunteer at animal rescue shelters.
She is survived by her parents, Hillary (Ornstein) and Jonathan Friedman; a sister, Allison; her grandfather, William Ornstein, and his companion, Arlene Acker; her aunt and uncles, Susie and Peter Polow and Robert Friedman; and a cousin, Carly Polow.
Services were held June 5 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Eleventh Hour Rescue, PO Box 218, Rockaway, NJ 07866.
