Stanley Nadler, 80, of Oceanport died June 13, 2014. He was born in Brooklyn and spent his childhood in Long Branch.
Mr. Nadler was a Monmouth University graduate.
He was an active member of the Shrewsbury Yacht Club, the Long Branch Ice Boat and Yacht Club, and the NJ Waterfowler Association. He dedicated much time to children’s sports leagues in Oceanport, where he was also a founding member of the annual September Firework display.
He is survived by his son, David (Anna) of Chandler, Ariz.; two daughters, Meredith Nadler of Tel Aviv and Jessica (Mark) Opert of London; a sister, Elaine Costello of Jackson; and his partner, Linda Beck of Oceanport.
Services were held June 19 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Funeral Chapel, Ocean. Memorial contributions may be made to National Parkinson’s Foundation.
