Stanley Millner

Stanley C. Millner, 95, of Monroe Township died Dec. 13, 2015. He was born in Trenton. 

Mr. Millner was a Certified Public Accountant, practicing as a partner at Millner, Millner and Aronson in Trenton, which later merged with Withum, Smith and Brown. 

He was a graduate of Trenton High School and Rider College. As a child he was a member of Scout Troop 112, “the mounted boy scouts.”

He was a veteran of the Air Force, fighting in World War II, flying from Italy as a navigator, bombardier, and pathfinder. He returned after 51 missions as a decorated first lieutenant.

He was a member of Greenacres Country Club in Lawrenceville, where he was an avid golfer. He was a member of Adath Israel Congregation in Lawrenceville, The Jewish Center in Princeton, and Jewish War Veterans Post 156.

Predeceased by his wife Elaine Cohen Millner, and a son, James W., he is survived by his wife, Rita; a brother, Leonard; a sister, Rita Swirsky; a stepson, Rick Lavine (Kimball Baker); a stepdaughter, Carroll Lavine (Eli) Botvinick; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 15 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County or The Jewish Center.
