Stanley Levy

Stanley W. Levy, 89, of Livingston died May 12, 2012. Born and raised in Newark, he lived in Livingston for 58 years.

Mr. Levy was the owner of an insurance company, Crest Ridge Agency of West Orange, for over 50 years, continuing to work until a few weeks ago.

He graduated from Newark’s Weequahic High School and attended Rider College.

He was a World War II veteran serving in the Navy “Sea Bees.” He was a coach of Livingston Little League Baseball for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Frances (Yanoff); his son, Robert; two daughters, Cindee DeGennaro and Jill Amsterdam; and six grandchildren.

Services were held May 15 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions can be made to R.E.G.M. for Cancer Research, PO Box 194, Springfield, NJ 07081.
