Stanley Leezenbaum
Stanley Leezenbaum, 87, of Tewksbury died Feb. 27, 2014. Born in New York City, he grew up in the Weequahic section of Newark and had also resided in Millburn, Oldwick, and Paris.
Mr. Leezenbaum owned and operated Leland Tube Co., South Plainfield. He later became a successful industrial real estate investor.
He graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Sally Poltarak Leezenbaum, in 2010, he is survived by two daughters, Lisa Harper of Flemington and Amelia (Robert) Floyd of Austin, Texas; a sister, Isobel Kahn of Livingston; a brother, Ralph of Mt. Kisco, NY; and three granddaughters.
Services were held March 2 with arrangements by Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund of Flemington Jewish Community Center, 5 Sergeantsville Rd., Flemington, NJ 08822.
