Stanley Hoffman
Stanley Hoffman, 88, of Princeton died Jan. 19, 2014. Born in the Bronx, he was a former resident of Monroe Township.
Mr. Hoffman was the controller of Sklar Manufacturing before retiring.
He was a graduate of Syracuse University and received his MBA from St. John’s University.
He was an Army veteran of World War II who fought in the Battle of the Bulge and received a Purple Heart and Silver Star.
He was past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, chaplain of the Veterans of the Battle of the Bulge, and active in the Jamesburg American Legion Post. He worked to raise money for a variety of veterans’ groups.
Predeceased by his wife, Manette, he is survived by his son, Mark (Patricia); two daughters, Lori Lipman and Linda (Hal) Masure; a brother, Bernard; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 22 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
