Sounding the alarm
As a member of Congregation B’nai Tikvah, I am proud that the synagogue has brought the community such fabulous educational programs (“Hundreds at seminar on defending Israel,” March 24).
No article can really do this outstanding seminar justice. It offered very practical ways to combat anti-Semitism on campus where the situation is alarming. The anti-Semitism which is rampant in academia is of special concern because the future leaders of our country are being indoctrinated with anti-Israel propaganda. I’d like to thank CAMERA, B’nai Tikvah, and all the cosponsors. Each of the speakers had something unique to add, and I hope that communities, synagogues, and other Jewish organizations will use this model for future programming. Though I wish we didn’t need one, I hope that B’nai Tikvah will have a follow-up program next year.
