SOLOMON-TOBIAS
Dorie Solomon, daughter of Randy and Steven Solomon of East Brunswick and New York City, and Dr. Michael Tobias, son of Samuel and the late Varda Tobias of Las Vegas, formerly of Edison, were married on May 26, 2019.
Rabbi Joseph Potasnik officiated at the ceremony, held at The Plaza Hotel in New York City.
Mrs. Tobias graduated from Hartford University cum laude with a degree in psychology. She is a district sales manager for Stimwave Technologies.
Dr. Tobias received his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine, graduating with honors in neurosurgery and pediatric neurosurgery. He performed his internship and residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. While chief resident there, he helped establish a new educational curriculum for resident training in pediatric neurosurgery at Montefiore Hospital. He is a board-certified neurosurgeon specializing in pediatric neurosurgery. In addition, he is Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics at New York Medical College, and co-chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, N.Y.
The couple resides in Manhattan.
