Singling out Israel
Regarding the Kolbo item on “Sabra rattling” (Nov. 24), I have three questions for the Princeton students so incensed at the sale of Sabra hummus because the company also provides Israeli soldiers with care packages:
Do you wear any clothes or use any products made in China?
Are Israel’s human rights offenses so much more appalling than China’s that one should boycott the products of the one and not the other?
And since you are singling out Israel despite this, why? (You’ll have to look in your hearts to answer that last one, and what you’ll find, if you’re honest, is pretty ugly.)
