Emily Clare Simkin to Adam Mitchell Halpern,

Emily Clare Simkin, daughter of Wendy Zelikoff Simkin and Ben Simkin of Audubon, Pa., is engaged to Adam Mitchell Halpern, son of Barrie Greenfield Halpern and Steven Halpern of Rockaway.

Ms. Simkin graduated from Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, Bryn Mawr, Pa., and received a B.M. in vocal performance and psychology from Berklee College of Music, Boston. She is a fourth-year cantorial student at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, New York City.

Mr. Halpern graduated from the IB program at Morris Knolls High School, Denville, and received a B.S. in neuroscience and music from Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa. He is attending Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, New York City.

A summer 2020 wedding is planned.
