Sidney Rosner

Sidney Rosner, 87, of Morristown, formerly of Rockaway and Highland Falls, N.Y., died May 25, 2018. 

Mr. Rosner was retired as an NCAA ice hockey referee. In his earlier career, he was the village treasurer for Highland Falls and later worked as a salesman for FYI Solutions of Parsippany, selling I.T. consulting services. 

He received an M.B.A. in finance.

He was a U.S. Army veteran. 

He was a member of Temple B’nai Or in Morristown. 

Predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Violet, and a grandson, Eric Zaziski, he is survived by his son, Alan (Clara); two daughters, Mindy Rosner Zaziski and Tammy Rosner (Richard Ram); a sister, Ruth Rosner Kornhauser; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. 

Services were held May 29 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover.
