Sidney Epstein

Sidney Epstein of Millburn died March 3, 2012. Born in Somerville, he lived in Brooklyn and Plainview, NY, for over 50 years before moving to Millburn a short time ago.

Mr. Epstein was the owner of Sidney Epstein Scrap Metal in Plainview, NY, for 77 years before retiring in 2007.

He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.

Predeceased by his wife, Adele, he is survived by two sons, Mitchell and Edward; his daughter, Joan Epstein; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Services were held March 4 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
