Sidney Barth
Sidney Barth, 94, of Morristown died Dec. 23, 2014. He previously resided in Pompton Plains, Florham Park, West Orange, and Union.
A pharmacist by training, Mr. Barth was the retired owner of Main Drug and Liquors of Chatham for almost 40 years.
An Air Force veteran, he served in Guam and received the World War II Victory, Asiatic-Pacific Service, American Service, and Good Conduct medals, all from the Air Force.
An honorary Chatham PBA member, he was active in Temple B’nai Or in Morristown, Men of Leisure at the JCC MetroWest, and the Morris County Pharmaceutical Association.
Predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Pauline (Littman), in 2012, he is survived by two daughters, Elaine (Stewart) Ginsberg and Janice Barth; and two granddaughters Allison and Jennifer Ginsberg.
Services were held Dec. 24 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover.
