Shirley Resnick
Shirley Resnick (Kanter), 94, of Monroe Township died June 6, 2019. Born in New York City, she resided in the Bronx before moving to Monroe 20 years ago.
A homemaker, Mrs. Resnick was a lifetime member of Hadassah and a volunteer with Deborah Heart and Lung Center.
Predeceased by her husband, Herman, she is survived by her daughter, Aileen (Mati) Marcus of Scotch Plains; two sons, Gerald (Carmela) of Scotch Plains and Benjamin (Gwen) of Irwin, Pa.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 7 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice or The Chelsea at Fanwood.
