Shirley Quint Kravitz of Deerfield Beach, Fla., died July 23, 2011. She was formerly of Trenton.
Mrs. Kravitz worked as a surgical and psychiatric nurse before retiring to raise her family.
She graduated from Mt. Sinai School of Nursing in New York.
She volunteered with Greenwood House and Jewish Federation of Trenton. She served as the first female president at Har Sinai Temple, Pennington, and ran the Red Cross Volunteer Program at the North Broward Medical Center, Pompano Beach, Fla.
Predeceased by her husband, David, she is survived by three sons, Theodore, Lee, and Jonathan; and two grandchildren.
Services were held July 31 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House or the American Red Cross.
