Seymour Geller

Dr. Seymour Geller, 87, of Scotch Plains died June 26, 2013. Born in Newark, he moved to Scotch Plains over 40 years ago.

Dr. Geller maintained a private dental practice in Newark for over 40 years, retiring 20 years ago.

He earned a BS from Rutgers University and graduated from New York University Dental School with a DDS.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was a member of the JCC of Central New Jersey in Scotch Plains.

He is survived by his companion, Howard V. Jones of Scotch Plains; a sister, Fay Speesler of Monroe Township; four nephews, Ronald Zevin, Martin Zevin, Matthew Speesler, and Paul Speesler; and a niece, Rosalind Flicker.

Services were held June 30 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
