Seymour Farber
Seymour B. Farber, 88, of Livingston died March 14, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Livingston for the past 40 years.
Mr. Farber was an educator in the Newark school system for 42 years, starting out as an art teacher and retiring as a vice principal. He also spent many years working with the New Jersey “Y” Camps, including serving on their board of directors.
He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Helen; his son, Barry (Allison); his daughter, Sharon (Jeff); a brother, Lee; and five grandchildren.
Services were held March 16 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to NJY Camps’ Scholarship Fund.
