Selma Fields

Selma Fields (Elkind) of Passaic died July 15, 2012. She was born in Paterson and lived most of her life in Passaic.

Mrs. Fields worked in the Dietary Division of Hoffman-LaRoche in Nutley before teaching home economics at Lincoln Middle School, Passaic. She retired 25 years ago.

She graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with a bachelor of science in nutrition.

She was a member of Congregation Ahavas Israel of Passaic and its sisterhood. She was a member and copresident of Passaic Hadassah.

Predeceased by her husband, Harry, she is survived by her son, Joel of Wayne; her daughter, Debbie Littman of Edison; and three grandchildren.

Services were held July 17 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton.
